Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has said that the club will be ‘in trouble’ if any of their first-choice front four gets injured this season.
Arsenal signed Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City this summer to reinforce manager Mikel Arteta’s options up front after losing Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Jesus has settled in quickly at Emirates, impressing in pre-season and putting in a vibrant performance in their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the opening game of the Premier League campaign last week.
The Brazilian international linked up with fellow attackers, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka well, while captain Martin Odegaard was the creative force behind them.
“The front four look lively for Arsenal.
“They have got everything between them and if they stay fit, Arsenal are going to have a good Premier League season.
“If one of them gets injured, however, they are in trouble,” Merson told Sportskeeda.
